Valencia is an independent region at the east coast of Spain. The capital of the region is also called Valencia and it is the third biggest city of Spain after Madrid and Barcelona Madrid and Barcelona. The region borders the Spanish regions of Catalonia and Murcia, among others.
The region of Valencia consists of three provinces: Valencia, Castellon and Alicante, the three provinces are again subdivided into comarcas. There are two airports airports, the airports of Alicante and Valencia.
